I learned about XP in 1999. I started experimenting with JUnit and several other practices some time after that. I'm doing real XP since 2000. I have been assisting several independent projects for practicing XP.

In 2000, I invented the XpGame together with PascalVanCauwenberghe, as an easy and fun way to explain the flow of XP iteration to all the people involved in the process.

I'm an independent consultant. You can reach me at vera.peeters More info about my company on http://www.tryx.com. If you're introducing XP in your company, or if you just want to know more about it, I'd love to come over to for a small presentation or to organize a personalized workshop.

I'm a great fan of PairProgramming. When I hear myself talking about XP, it sounds like PairProgramming is the solution to all the problems you can have. ;-)

I also like TestFirstDesign? a lot. I think it's a very natural way to program. With TestFirst?, I find myself able to develop complicated things very smoothly. The resulting design is usually very clean. It's also the best and easiest way to end up with a marvellous set of UnitTests?.

I also have amazing experiences with ShortReleases?. This is a really powerful one. You have to deliver something really complete though...
