Werner Ramaekers has founded Shift@ together with Jean-Pierre Clauws early 2000. Shift@ focusses on Java2 Enterprise Edition projects and uses XP and PairProgramming techniques to develop these projects.

Werner has engineering degrees in mechatronics and telecommunications.

He is a Sun Certified Java Programmer, instructor for the Websphere Application Server at the International Eduction Center of IBMat La Hulpe (BE) and JBoss certified support engineer.

He has gained experience in a number of server-side Java projects since 1996 in different industry domains.

Werner has succesfully used XP techniques together with his colleagues TomVekemans and Paul Stubbe for his projects at Shift@ or together with the developers in a client company.
