What ?
Agile is quite well understood in a context of a single team development. The reality of modern businesses however is different. To shorten the time to market, or to deal with lacking expertise in the core team, companies are forced to form increasing numbers of strategic partnerships and explore several co-development models. Companies building products in such a collaborative way are experiencing challenges and difficulties when trying to apply agile software development principles: How to manage the complex partnerships while keeping the flexibility promised by agility? How to define the contracts? How to work together with more traditionally oriented partners and clients ( e.g., requesting detailed upfront planning)?
